Uptime monitoring · down to every 10 seconds · EU

The most boring chart you own. We keep it that way.

up4 can watch your sites, APIs and scheduled jobs as often as every 10 seconds. Every monitor-region execution is metered or drawn from a plan budget. When the line does something interesting, the right person knows — and your client never has to.

Live, simulated. The amber band is a real product feature: slow is degraded, not down — nobody gets woken for a sluggish server.

Ninety days, no legend needed

A quarter of asking every ten seconds.

Each cell is a day. Green needs no explanation — that is rather the point of the product.

up degraded — slow, never paged down — six minutes, one Tuesday
99.995% measured uptime · 90 days

129,600 minutes observed. Six minutes down. Two slow spells that never woke anyone.

That red cell, up close

04:13 on a Tuesday. Six minutes, end to end.

04:13:07

api.lakeside.example stopped answering.check failed

Timeout after 2.4 s — caught on the next 10-second check.

04:13:09

Two confirmation checks agree, seconds later.confirmed

The first failure triggers instant parallel re-checks — a single blip never wakes anyone.

04:13:11

Anna’s phone buzzes. She is on call tonight.alert sent

Alert plan "Nights" → on-call rotation → push, then SMS if unacknowledged.

04:14:02

Acknowledged. The playbook is already open.on it

Restart procedure, step by step, shared progress — no wiki archaeology at 4 a.m.

04:19:44

api.lakeside.example is back. 200 OK · 118 msrecovered

Recovery notice to the same channels. Incident closed automatically.

08:30:00

The client reads a report with your logo on it.

Six minutes of downtime, documented. White-label, already in their inbox.

Cadence

An outage can hide for five minutes. Or for ten seconds.

Every dot is one check across a five-minute window. A 10-second interval is available on every plan here; each execution is metered or drawn from the flat plan’s monthly check budget.

up4 every 10 s · 30 checks
typical paid plan every 60 s · 5 checks
typical free plan every 5 min · 1 check
0:002:305:00

A five-minute outage is 30 chances to catch it — or one. With quorum across regions and two-check confirmation, faster never means noisier.

For agencies

Your clients, kept apart. Your name on everything.

Client accounts partition everything. Monitors, incidents, status pages, reports — scoped per client. Lakeside never sees Verde, and neither do Lakeside’s logins.

Share without inviting. Hand a client a read-only share link to their own uptime — no account, no seat, no support ticket.

White-label reports. Monthly SLA evidence as PDF, with your logo and your domain. The work is yours; the paperwork should look like it.

€151 margin / month · 12 clients

Twelve clients at a €15 monitoring line, minus the €29 that covers all of them. Before your time — the checks, alerts and reports run without you.

The quiet parts, out loud

Monitoring is a trust business. So, some facts.

EU-hosted, GDPR-native

German infrastructure, data stays in the EU, a signed DPA for your client contracts — and no cookie banner on this page, because there is nothing to consent to. How it is actually run

We publish our probes

Fixed egress IPs, an honest user agent, and a status page that doesn’t run on the infrastructure it reports on. The current list

Secrets are encrypted, sessions are revocable

Channel credentials are AES-256-GCM encrypted before storage; browser sessions are opaque tokens whose hash is all we keep. You can revoke any of them, from any device.

What we do not have

No SOC 2, no ISO certificate, no SAML. We publish that next to the things we do have, because a trust page that only lists wins is worth nothing. The gaps, named
