StatusCake alternative · migration-friendly

The add-ons are the product.

StatusCake’s sticker says €16.66 for 100 monitors, checked every minute. Then the receipt starts stacking: a status page is a second product from €11.63, removing their logo means the €36.63 tier of that product, a second teammate means the €58.33 plan — and that plan is also where 30-second checks live. Here the same list is one line: Team, €9 — with 10-second checks, not 30.

A 100-monitor fleet, checked every minute, and four honest wishes. Their column re-prices from the public EUR list; ours mostly prints “included”. The one exception is white-label — that is our Agency plan, and the receipt says so.

Public EUR list prices, July 2026, annual billing where that is their cheaper number. Their free tier is genuinely generous, and the table says so — the argument against it is the blind spot, not the price.

Migration

Unstack in an afternoon.

01

Paste your monitors

Copy your uptime tests out of StatusCake and paste the URLs into the batch import. Every line becomes a monitor — at 10-second resolution if you like.

02

Rewire the alerts

Slack, email, PagerDuty and nine more channels, with escalation policies on top. No SMS credits to ration.

03

Publish the page you were renting

Status pages are a feature here, not a product. Pick monitors, set a slug, import subscribers via CSV — done before the kettle boils.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered plainly

StatusCake has a free plan. Why would I pay you €3?
Fair — and if 10 monitors on 5-minute checks is genuinely all you need, their free plan costs less than we do. What €3 buys is the blind spot: five-minute checks can miss an outage for 4 minutes 59 seconds. Ten monitors at 60-second checks cost €3.89 a month here. The full argument, with a button that simulates the outage.
Why is the seat limit such a big deal?
Because monitoring is a team sport at exactly the wrong moment. StatusCake Superior includes one seat — the person asleep when the alert fires. Here every plan has unlimited seats; inviting your colleague, your client or your future self costs nothing.
Do I really pay extra for a status page there?
Yes — StatusCake Pages is a separate product: Bronze at €11.63 a month keeps their branding; removing it is Silver at €36.63. Here status pages ship with every plan, subscribers included, and white-label comes with Agency at €29 all-in.
What StatusCake features do you not have?
Honestly: dedicated SSL-expiry, domain-expiry and page-speed monitors are real StatusCake features we do not sell. What we do instead: a TLS failure is a failed check — you hear about it within seconds, not at the next daily scan — and every check records response time. If expiry reminders and Lighthouse scores are why you buy monitoring, keep that piece.
Can I bring my subscribers and history?
Subscribers move via CSV import. History does not transfer between vendors — which is an argument for switching sooner rather than later: your 90-day bar starts filling the moment the first check runs.
Where does up4 run?
German infrastructure in the EU, checks from published egress IPs, a signed DPA as a download. StatusCake is UK-based — depending on your privacy review, that distinction matters or it does not; we just state it.
