Q: Is there a free plan like Freshping had?

No. You get €9 of starting credit, no card required, for up to 50 monitors and 20 scheduled jobs. With light use it lasts about three months; heavier use ends it sooner, and checks pause once it is used up. Subscriber CSV import for status pages opens after your first payment. After that, small fleets cost from €3 a month. The pricing page shows the whole formula.

Freshworks ended the Freshping free plan on 6 March 2026; paid contracts run until their term ends. If you need a replacement: up4 checks as often as every 10 seconds, runs its application and primary database in Germany and includes status pages. Five monitors at a one-minute cadence cost €3 a month, and you start with €9 of starting credit, no card.

Moving over, step by step

Export and convert

Freshping exports monitors as XML. The export closed on 4 June 2026 for free accounts; paid accounts have 90 days after their contract ends. up4 imports URL lists and CSV, so copy the URLs and names out of the XML first.

Import and review

Paste the list into the batch import and check the preview. Every row becomes a monitor. History, incidents, status pages and recipients do not come along (what the import carries over).

Alerts and status page

Connect Slack, email, PagerDuty or another of the 16 channels and send a test alert. Then pick monitors, choose a slug and publish; importing subscribers by CSV works after your first payment.

Run both in parallel

While your Freshping contract runs, keep it on until the up4 alerts arrive. Then move critical monitors from 60 to 10 seconds; the cost preview shows the difference first.

Can I bring my Freshping monitors over?

If you can still reach your Freshping data, yes. Free accounts could export until 4 June 2026; paid accounts have 90 days after their contract ends. Freshping exports XML and up4 imports URL lists and CSV, so you copy the URLs and names into a list first. Check history, incidents, status pages and recipients do not come along; the import page says what does. Without access, rebuild the list from your own records.

Do you have status pages?

Yes, on every plan, with subscriber notifications and translations, on a public up4 address. Removing the up4 branding is included on Team and Agency and costs €10 per page and month on pay as you go and starting credit. You can also use your own domain: we verify DNS and issue the certificate. Team includes one, Agency ten, with more available as add-ons; on pay as you go each domain costs €2 a month, counted per day from your credit.

Where do your checks run?

From four regions (Germany, US, Singapore, Australia), using published egress IPs and a user agent that names up4; see where checks come from. You choose the regions per monitor; choose only Europe and a monitor is checked from Germany alone.
