Failed checks cost the same as healthy ones. A check is a request we actually send — nothing more creative than that. Paused monitors send nothing and cost nothing.

You see the price before you create anything. Every monitor form in the product shows its own monthly cost as you pick the interval. The number on this page and the number in the product come from the same formula, kept in parity by tests.

The receipt recommends the flat plan when the flat plan wins. Push the slider up: the moment the meter would cost more than €9, the receipt tells you Team would be cheaper. Nothing switches by itself — plans change monthly, in both directions, on your click. A pricing page that argues against itself — we find that reasonable.

The quiet part, out loud

No free plan. Here is the honest arithmetic.

Free plans are paid for by someone — by the paying customers above them, by an acquirer’s patience, or by the day the vendor retires the product and 55,000 status pages go dark. Monitoring is the one tool that must not have a quiet funding problem.

So instead of a free tier we hand you €3 of real credit and 15 days of everything. If €3 a month is not worth knowing your site is up, we would rather part as friends now than as strangers during your first outage.

FAQ

The fine print, in plain language

What counts as a check?
Every request our checkers actually send: one monitor, checked every 10 seconds, is 8,640 checks a day. Add a region, and each region’s checks count. Paused monitors send nothing and cost nothing. The calculator above is the exact production formula, not a marketing approximation.
What happens when my balance reaches zero?
Your monitors pause and everything else stays: configuration, history, status pages, reports. Nothing is deleted, and nobody sends you a dunning sequence. Top up, and checks resume where they left off.
Does credit expire?
No. Top up from €10 and the balance sits there until checks use it. The only recurring charge on pay as you go is the €3 monthly minimum — which already includes €3 of usage, roughly 333,000 checks.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Every new account gets 15 days with everything unlocked and €3 of starting credit — at 10 monitors on 60-second checks, that is about a month of real monitoring before you decide anything.
Can I switch between pay as you go and a flat plan?
Yes, monthly and in both directions — and only ever on your click; nothing switches itself. Start on the meter, move to Team when the receipt says €9 would be cheaper. The calculator literally tells you when that moment comes.
What happens when a flat plan’s check budget runs out?
Team includes 20 million checks a month, Agency 66 million — measured at list prices, so a 10-second monitor simply spends the budget faster. At 80% we email you. At 100% your existing monitors keep checking exactly as configured; you just cannot add monitors or tighten intervals until the month resets, or you upgrade. No overage line ever appears on the invoice — flat means flat.
Are these prices net or gross?
Net. VAT is added at checkout where it applies; EU businesses with a valid VAT ID use the reverse-charge procedure as usual.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No. Plans are monthly and stop when you stop them. Pay as you go has nothing to cancel in the first place — no checks, no charge beyond the €3 minimum, and pausing your monitors ends even that conversation.
What if I need more than 500 monitors?
The meter has no ceiling — pay as you go scales to whatever your fleet is, at the same €9 per million. If you want a custom flat arrangement instead, talk to us. You will reach a human, not a quota-carrying PDF.
