Most vendors hide billing mechanics in a help-center FAQ. Ours is simple enough to document like everything else: one check rate, a prepaid wallet, two flat plans — and a floor under you at zero.
The meter
€9 per million checks for HTTP, Ping, TCP, DNS, keyword and body checks. A check is a request
we actually send: one monitor every 10 seconds is 8,640 checks a day. Alerts, status pages,
evidence captures, playbooks and seats have no separate usage charge.
GET /billing/prices returns the complete price table, and every
monitor form prints its own monthly cost before you save. Failed checks cost the same
as healthy ones; paused monitors cost nothing. The calculator on the
pricing page runs the exact production formula.
Pay as you go: the wallet

Running low: warnings, then grace — never a blackout
We forecast your runway from your real 7-day burn and warn you in good time, well before zero — with auto-reload as the one-click fix. If the balance does run out, grace mode takes over: every monitor keeps running at a 5-minute cadence, free of charge, for 7 days, with alerts and status pages live. Only after that do checks pause — and nothing is ever deleted; top up and monitoring resumes at your configured intervals within a minute. We never bill into the negative and never run dunning.

The check budget resets per UTC calendar month. A single-region monitor at 10 seconds uses 259,200 checks in a 30-day month; every additional region counts again. Team supports up to 100 monitors and Agency up to 500. At 80% we email you. At 100%, the quota becomes a change gate: you cannot create or resume monitors, shorten intervals or add regions until the reset or an upgrade. Monitors already active keep their current cadence. No overage is charged. Switching between the meter and a plan is monthly, in both directions, and only ever on your click.
Trial
New accounts start with €3 of credit and every released feature — no card required; the credit is the trial. It drains through usage and the monthly minimum, so it lasts about a month of light use. When it runs out, the same grace mode applies before anything pauses.
Invoices and payment
Payments run through Stripe; purchases via Stripe Managed Payments are sold by Stripe (as
“Link”) as merchant of record — the receipt or invoice, PDF attached, arrives by
email automatically, and your card statement shows LINK.COM*
with our descriptor. Prices are in euros; at checkout Stripe shows your local currency. All
prices net, VAT applied at checkout where it applies.
Via API
Meter prices are public (GET /billing/prices) so your own
tooling can predict costs with our exact numbers — the same parity we keep between the pricing
page and the product.
