The shortcuts the up4 app handles. On a Mac use ⌘, elsewhere Ctrl.
Command palette
Keys
What it does
⌘+K or Ctrl+K
Open the command palette, or close it again. Works while you type in a field.
/
Open the command palette when no text field has focus.
↑ or ↓
Move through the results.
↵
Open the highlighted result or run the highlighted action.
⇥ or Shift+⇥
While you search, switch the filter between all results, monitors, scheduled jobs, incidents and status pages. Shift goes back.
Esc
Close the command palette.
Anywhere in the app
Keys
What it does
⌘+J or Ctrl+J
Open the switcher for Company, all clients or one client. Does not fire while you type in a field.
Esc
Close the open dialog.
Lists
Keys
What it does
Shift+click
In a list with checkboxes, select every row between the last row you clicked and this one.
⌘+click or Ctrl+click
While a selection is open, add one row to it or remove it. Without a selection the click opens the row in a new tab.
Monitor timeline
Keys
What it does
← or →
Move the monitor timeline left or right while the chart has focus.
+ or −
Zoom the monitor timeline in or out while the chart has focus.
Esc
Step back out of a zoomed timeline. A dialog, menu or text field that has focus keeps the key.
Forms and editors
Keys
What it does
⌘+↵ or Ctrl+↵
On the import page, preview the pasted addresses.
↑ or ↓
In the status page editor, move a section or a resource up or down while its drag handle has focus.
Pause and resume from the palette
Type pause or resume and part of a monitor's name into the command palette. It lists the matching monitors, each with that action. You need at least three characters, and members with the Viewer role do not get these actions.
Key hints that do nothing
Two key hints on screen are not shortcuts yet. The / in the search box of a list does not jump into that box; the key opens the command palette, as in the table. The ⌘⇧R next to resetting a saved view is a label only.
